Halloween

A witch on her broomstick, with glowing eyes, greeted the younger Gumnut Guides and their friends when they came to the Guide Hall to celebrate Halloween last Monday. The girls & their guests dressed up in fabulous costumes from beauty queens, indian princesses, mermaids, witches, black cats, vampires to batman. This has become almost an annual event for the Gumnuts and helps them consider Guiding and countries around the world. As we know Halloween tends to be an American celebration. The food they ate came from Mexico, Italy, Australia, Switzerland and America. They all had lots of fun playing a variety of games, created bats and ate food from around the world.
